iGadi House – Terms and Conditions

Hotel Rules

  • Smoking is not allowed.
  • Events/ Parties are not allowed.
  • The hotel has no capacity for extra beds.
  • Guests should be 18 years and older to check in to iGadi House.
  • We accept MasterCard / Visa / Cash

 

Child Policy

  • Children over 8 years of age are welcome at iGadi House.
  • Kindly note that only our family room “Biggy” can accommodate children (over 8 years old).

 

Pet Policy

  • Although we adore our furry friends, we unfortunately do not allow them in the hotel.
  • For special ‘guide dogs’, please contact us directly for further assistance.

 

Check in / Check out Times

  • Standard check in time is 14:00. We strive and make every effort to ensure that your room is available and ready for you on arrival. Early check-in can be requested directly at the hotel 24h prior arrival but are subject to availability. For a guaranteed early check in, the night prior to arrival has to be booked additionally at the full rate.
  • Check out time is at 11.00am. A late check out can be requested and confirmed on- site on the day of departure, but it is subject to availability of the hotel. Should you wish to guarantee a late check out prior, you will be required to book and secure an additional night to your stay at the hotel at full rate.

 

Cancellation Policy

  • All reservations must be confirmed in writing and a 50% Deposit payment is required
  • Cancellations made 31 Days prior arrival, 10% as administration fees will be kept, the rest of the Deposit paid will be refunded.
  • Cancellations made 30- 15 Days prior arrival, the 50 % Deposit is non-refundable
  • Any Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to arrival, the full amount will be charged and is non-refundable
  • In a case of an Early departure or a No-Show, the full amount will be charged and is non-refundable
  • All Cancellations have to be in writing
  • Refunds for bookings are fully dependent on the availability of rooms of the hotel and are done at the discretion of the hotel management.
  • A 100% Non-refundable Deposit is required for a 1-night Stay

 

Confirmation and Payment

  • All reservations are subject to availability of selected rooms.
  • A 50% deposit is required to secure and guarantee a room stay.
  • The 50% outstanding balance of total stay will be required upon arrival at the hotel.
  • A 100% Non-refundable Deposit is required for a 1-night Stay
  • All bookings remain provisional until Payment has been received. Provisional bookings will be kept for a maximum of 2 days. iGadi House reserves the right to cancel the reservation after 2 days should no written confirmation and deposit be provided without any notice.
  • Our rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and do not include any Bank Charges or Foreign Currency Conversion fees.
  • A confirmation of reservation will be issued upon receipt of provisional booking and deposit.

 

Governing Law & jurisdiction

The terms and conditions and our relationship and or any dispute arising from or in connection with the stipulated terms and conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Your continued use of our website constitutes your consent and submission to the jurisdiction of the South African courts regarding all proceedings, transactions, applications arising from any of the terms and conditions. In the event of any dispute arising between you and iGadi House, you hereby consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of the Republic of South Africa (Western Cape Division, Cape Town) notwithstanding that the quantum in the action or proceedings may otherwise fall below the monetary jurisdiction of that court.
