iGadi House – Terms and Conditions

Booking & Payment Policy

• Booking Guarantee: All reservations are subject to room availability. Bookings remain provisional for up to 2 days; if written confirmation and the required deposit are not received within this period, iGadi House reserves the right to release the reservation without notice.
• Deposit Requirements: Standard stays require a 50% deposit to confirm and guarantee the booking. Single-night stays require a 100% non-refundable deposit.
• Balance Payment: The remaining 50% balance is payable upon arrival at the hotel.
• Currency & Fees: All rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and exclude bank transfer charges or foreign currency conversion fees.
• Payment Methods: We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Cash.
• Written Confirmation: A formal reservation confirmation is issued immediately upon receipt of your deposit.

Cancellation Policy

• More than 30 Days Prior to Arrival: Cancellations incur a 10% administration fee; the remaining balance of the deposit will be refunded.
• 30 to 15 Days Prior to Arrival: The 50% deposit is non-refundable.
• 14 Days or Less Prior to Arrival: The full booking amount is payable and non-refundable.
• No-Shows & Early Departures: The full booking amount will be charged and is non-refundable.
• General Terms: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Any potential refunds outside standard policy terms remain subject to room availability and are issued at the sole discretion of hotel management.

Check-in & Check-out Policy

• Check-in (14:00): We make every effort to have your room ready upon arrival. Early check-in may be requested at least 24 hours prior to arrival and is subject to availability. To guarantee an early check-in in advance, a discounted fee of 50% of the daily room rate applies.
• Check-out (11:00): Late check-out may be requested on your day of departure, subject to availability. To guarantee a late check-out in advance, a discounted fee of 50% of the room rate applies.

Hotel Rules & Guest Policies

• Age Requirement: Primary guests must be 18 years or older to check in.
• Child Policy: iGadi House welcomes guests aged 12 and older. Families traveling with children must book our "Biggy" Family Room, as it is the only room designed to accommodate them.
• Pet Policy: While we love animals, iGadi House is a pet-free property.
• Non-Smoking: iGadi House is a strictly non-smoking property.
• Parties & Events: Large gatherings, parties, and events are not permitted.
• Extra Beds: The hotel cannot accommodate extra beds or cots in the rooms.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions, as well as any relationship or dispute arising from them, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

By using our website or securing a reservation, you consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of South Africa (Western Cape Division, Cape Town) for all matters and legal proceedings, regardless of the monetary amount involved in any dispute.
